And as we say, he’s still tethered.  We even have a tether somewhere on the boat when we go sailing.  And I’ll use that as a segway to say we went sailing last weekend.  80F in the middle of December with 20 knot winds.  Nice.

Chris joined JT, Lisa and I for some sailing.  We reefed for the first time on our boat.  This means we reduced the sail area by not raising the mains’l to it’s full potential.  There’s probably a better way to describe that in layman’s terms, but that’s how I described it.  It’s a technique used in sailing with heavier winds to keep control of the boat.
