Mama!! Miles was sitting in his highchair last night and we were cleaning up from his dinner. He reached his arms up to me and uttered the best word ever One may argue that it was accidental since he says, “mamamamamamamama” all day long. But I don’t care! He also looked at me again this morning when we were playing in bed and said “Mama” again. I’m almost positive it isn’t a fluke because of the tone and manner in which he says it.

Miles will be 8 months old in a few days. His new favorite past time is clapping. He’s getting pretty good at it and can actually make a soft clap sound. Luckily he hasn’t started crawling yet (I like being able to set him in the middle of a room and walk out knowing he’ll still be in the same spot!) but I’d bet $$ he’ll do it by Christmas. As far as Eric and I go, since I last wrote Eric celebrated his 37th bday, we celebrated our 4th anniversary, and we attended a few holiday and birthday parties. I put up Christmas lights at our house which was a first for me. It doesn’t look great but I had fun doing it.
