A few new favorites…
April 29, 2008 1:08 pmMiles has developed a new technique…pitching fits. You are sure to see one if you open the front door and don’t let him go outside. Try bringing him inside after he’s been crawling around outside…he tries to throw himself out of your arms to get back to the ground.
The dogs have also taught him a new trick…
Of course, another favorite of Miles’ is Uncle Chris who can get him to break into the biggest grin with just a look. (I didn’t catch that on camera but Miles was happy to pose with Aunt Kim).
Too much fun in April
April 22, 2008 2:19 pmEric came by our swim class last week and took pictures of our water baby. Miles LOVES swimming on his back and kicks his legs constantly.
We visited the Austin Zoo for the first time yesterday. Miles liked looking at the animals but he didn’t quite grasp the concept of feeding them yet. We left that to our friend, Aleah.
Uncle Marc, Aunt Susan, Leslie and Bryan also came for a visit. Miles has a thing for Uncle Marc 
Miles’ First Birthday, Crawfish Boil, and First steps!!!
April 17, 2008 10:37 amWe celebrated Miles’ first birthday with family the morning of the crawfish boil. The birthday cake was a big hit with him and he ate most of it (except for the piece he threw on the floor for Travis).
He is his father’s son and LOVED his first taste of crawfish.
Chris and Kim made Miles his very own birthday/crawfish boil tshirt.
This morning (4/17) after Eric changed his diaper, Miles took his very first solo step!!! We were able to get him to do it again almost immediately so I could see

April 3, 2008 6:44 pmMiles crawled on top of Travis and sat on him so he could reach into the fireplace. Travis is a wonderful dog, as you can tell.
A whole lot has happened…
April 2, 2008 3:11 pmsince our computer broke! I’ve updated Miles’ folder with lots of new pictures from St. Patty’s Day, Easter, KP’s Birthday, Sailing and fun days at home. Since I last wrote Miles has gotten very good at cruising (walking while holding onto furniture) and finished a month’s worth of swim lessons at the YMCA. We signed up for more lessons in April since he seems to really enjoy it. We are looking forward to his first birthday and the crawfish boil!! It’s amazing how quickly time goes by. Here’s my new favorite picture:
